My Perfect Bath Time Products

#MiraGiftmas

There is something sacred about a bath. I'm the sort of person that has a shower every morning in order to wake up and be a normal human being, but baths are considered more of a luxury to me.
After nearly 18 months of living without one, I'm now back in a flat with a bath and as such, I am going to town with making it a big deal each and every time I run one. I'm talking multiple products in the water as well as on my face, feet, hands and hair.

A gift box for Christmas is great, of course, but I love to make or receive a box of goodies that is tailored to the person. So, if you're wondering, I wouldn't mind a few of these to pamper myself with. If you're feeling generous...

Starting from the top (literally), I'm constantly on the look out for a shampoo for curly hair that won't flatten my curls but similarly won't allow them to defy gravity either. I'm intrigued by a shampoo that includes the word 'twist' rather than 'smooth' or 'define' - maybe these people know what they're doing!

As for my face, I love to give my face a good scrub once my pores have opened up in a steamy bathroom to scrape out the grime. And, well, I'm of that age now where new lines are appearing every day. Lack of sleep, too much stress, general wear and tear; it's all starting to take its toll and eye cream is a must for me every evening.

Scrubbing doesn't just stop with my face. When I'm on a pampering session I exfoliate every inch of skin, whether that's with a shower gel on a loofah, or with a body buff. I'm a sucker for a cute name like the Cheeky Bright product, or for an awesome smell. How amazing does vanilla, freesia and lychee sound?!

Finally, if I'm not chucking in a big Lush bath bomb, I love the sound of some bath salts that will help me sleep. I also suffer from sciatica and something that will sooth my aching muscles sounds perfect. Hell, I might even throw that arnica oil, the Cowshed salts AND a Lush goodie all in at once. Turns out I'm a sucker for some me time.
