New Look cropped shirt / Warehouse gingham top / Yoox ruffle sleeve t-shirt / Mango flared sleeve blouse
Moda Operandi sweatshirt / SemSem slit sleeves* / Chicwish cable knit / MSGM bow embellished sleeves
Over the next few months I'll be the one unable to type, getting stuck in tube train doors and making a mess when eating all thanks to my obsession with ridiculous sleeves. Whether they're of the big sweeping bell variety or tied up with frills and bows, there's something about this sort of embellishment that has me swooning.
I think it's because every single one of them will up my game when I continue to only wear skinny black jeans on a daily basis. They give shape without making me look frumpy and are about as feminine as my wardrobe dares to get. OK, they're slightly inconvenient, but that's a small price to pay when I feel like I'm dressed as a sophisticated European fashion editor.
Also, HOW GOOD IS THE NAME OF THIS POST?! Puns and fashion in one post, what a time to be alive.
